ALPIQ France is one of the leading electricity and gas suppliers to commercial and industrial customers in France. The company employs more than 100 persons and is aiming to continue to grow its activities such as PPAs, flexibility solutions for electricity consumers and producers, and retail. Alpiq France wants to contribute to a better climate and invests in flexibility with specific targets such as energy storage, which facilitate the integration of renewable energy and improve the security of supply.
Together with the Country Manager France, this role establishes and implements the global Alpiq HR strategy in Alpiq France, adapting it to the local needs and requirements whilst sticking to global HR standards and principles.The aim of this role is to guarantee the attraction and engagement of the best talent, ensuring legislative labour compliance, facilitating and advising managers and employees throughout all the HR cycle, from the Start of the Candidate experience till the start of the Alpiq-Alumni experience.
Your profile
- University degree with further training in Human Resources
- 15 years previous experience in an international company and/or a matrix organization with generalist HR tasks
- Good expertise in French labour law. Expertise in Work Council negotiation
- Entrepreneurial and solution-oriented thinking, combining an excellent client orientation with business focus
- Outstanding communication skills, able to motivate and encourage innovation and proactivity whilst challenging behaviours and attitudes that differ from Alpiq values
- High level of initiative, independence and growth and thriving for excellence
- Ability to apply concrete measures and initiatives whilst keeping in mind the global picture
- Fluent in English and French
Your main responsibilities
- Design, develop and implement the HR strategy in Alpiq France together with the Country Manager, aligned with the HR Alpiq Group strategy and ensuring that Employee Experience is the same across the whole Alpiq
- Manage, supervise and/or execute all HR processes of the country: recruitment, training, development, compensation and benefits, labour relations, personnel administration, internal communication in close alignment with HR Centers of Excellence processes and principles
- Advise and support managers and employees in HR processes throughout the entire employee lifecycle, as well as guide managers in leadership issues or difficult or conflictive situations
- Identify internal customer needs, supporting, accompanying, aligning and prioritising change processes
- Lead negotiations with employee representatives
- Manage and inspire the local HR team
- Actively participate in global HR projects and in the local development and implementation of Global HR processes
- Support and accompany Alpiq change processes
- Other HR tasks and needs of the Country and Group
