We at Alpiq are looking for a Senior Cyber Security Manager to support and collaborate with our Chief Information Security Officer in leading enterprise-wide cybersecurity strategy and governance. This is a high-impact leadership role where you will drive critical cybersecurity initiatives, manage risk, and contribute to a forward-thinking security architecture—leveraging cutting-edge technologies including AI, Zero Trust, and Cloud Security frameworks.
Your main responsibilities
- Serve as second-in-command to the CISO, managing cybersecurity operations and governance functions.
- Drive enterprise-wide cybersecurity strategy, policy development, and implementation.
- Lead Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) functions including risk assessments, regulatory compliance, and information security metrics.
- Advise senior leadership on cybersecurity risks, regulatory trends, and mitigation strategies.
- Oversee and support budget planning, fiscal analysis, and administrative processes.
- Implement and maintain cybersecurity frameworks (e.g., NIST SP 800-53).
- Champion the use of AI and emerging technologies to automate threat detection, support predictive analytics, and enhance cyber resilience.
- Supervise cross-functional teams and serve as a key contact during crisis response.
Your profile
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or related field.
- At least 5 years of progressive experience in information security leadership.
- Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, GIAC or equivalent.
- Advanced knowledge of cloud security (AWS, Azure), Zero Trust architecture, and DevSecOps.
- Proven expertise in governance, compliance, and cybersecurity frameworks.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to author policies, reports, and executive briefings.
- Familiarity with TCP/IP, security in cloud environments, and AI/ML-driven threat detection is a nice to have.
- Experience developing and maintaining security procedures and training programs is a nice to have.
