Our sustainable energy business contributes to a better climate and an improved security of supply. This is the motivation for our actions. Alpiq is well positioned to minimise the climate impact of our power production thanks to our use of renewable energies such as a hydropower, photovoltaic and wind power. We also make a significant contribution to security of supply by providing production capacities for the winter in our storage power plants.  

We are aware that there are more steps to take. Importantly, however, we have embarked on the journey and we are clear about which direction to take. We are committed to building a sustainable company that minimises the climate impact of its energy management while continuing to make energy available wherever and whenever it’s needed. The planet and society are facing massive challenges, and Alpiq is determined to be part of the solution.
