Since January 2025, all the electricity consumed by FRONERI France has been guaranteed to be of 100% renewable origin. This is the result of FRONERI France's partnership with Alpiq France and the signing of a new electricity supply contract incorporating Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) based on wind power stations, which jointly value production and the associated Guarantees of Origin, thus ensuring totally green electricity.
This initiative is fully in line with FRONERI France's ambition “to reduce its carbon footprint and move towards a more sustainable business model. A key step for the company, its teams and the planet.”
Alpiq France offers large energy consumers integrated solutions comprising a range of services developed in-house and without intermediaries:
- Access to a supply of renewable electricity over medium- or long-term horizons, based on the sourcing of contracts negotiated by Alpiq France with a panel of renewable producers,
- Supplementary energy supply taking into account the intermittency of renewable electricity supply and the regulations in force, by capitalizing on the expertise of the Alpiq France teams,
- Making the most of the flexibilities offered by existing or new processes and decarbonization projects at industrial or tertiary sites, on reserve mechanisms and intraday markets.
