Join our Trading Division as an Intern for a 6-month period, where you will work closely with the COO (Trading Division) team to assess and enhance various front office processes related to Asset, Trading, and Origination. Your main responsibilities

  • Support the COO (Trading Division) team in identifying control gaps and enhancing front office processes.
  • Collaborate with front office, Middle Office, Back Office, IT and other key stakeholders to drive continuous improvement and the development of new features.
  • Analyze existing processes to distill information into actionable plans or clear functional business requirements.
  • Participate in front office-driven transformation initiatives aimed at improving data management, trading systems, analytics, and business processes.

Your profile

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Finance, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field, with coursework in energy markets or trading in other asset classes.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize complex information into concise solutions.
  • A strong passion for the energy sector and a desire to expand your knowledge.
  • Swiss or EU passport (unfortunately we cannot sponsor non-EU Visas for this role).
  • Quantitative and coding skills are advantageous.
  • A self-starter who can work independently when necessary and is also effective in collaborative environments.
  • Being empathetic, results-oriented, and flexible are your additional assets.
  • Availability to work in Olten or Lausanne (Hybrid).
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills to establish and maintain strong working relationships with various stakeholders.
  • Full proficiency in English, additional languages (French, German, others) are an energy plus.
