Lausanne – René Longet, a Member of the Alpiq Board of Directors, has informed the Alpiq Holding Ltd. Board that he will not be standing for re-election. The Board of Directors would like to thank René Longet, who has served on the Board without interruption since 2013, for his valuable commitment and for his extensive expertise that he applied to help shape the realignment of the company. At today’s meeting, the Board of Directors adopted a resolution to propose Aline Isoz for election as a new Board member at the Annual General Meeting.
Aline Isoz (44) is the Director of Digital Transformation at Mazars Switzerland, a leading international company specializing in auditing, accountancy, tax and advisory services. Aline Isoz has been a strategic management consultant for more than 15 years and specialises in digital transformation. She is currently a member of the Board of Directors of SIG (Services Industriels de Genève), a member of the Board of Directors of VOénergies and a member of the Foundation Board of the Swiss Paraplegic Foundation. Previously, the entrepreneur from the French-speaking part of Switzerland founded the Blackswan consulting agency, which specialises in digital transformation. She is a member of other specialist bodies and a regular expert guest featured in the media.
The shareholders will vote on the proposal at the next Annual General Meeting of Alpiq Holding Ltd. on 24 June 2020 in Lausanne.
