We are very excited to be recruiting for this newly created vacancy, which is part of our transformation journey in trading. You will report directly to our Head of Quantitative Analysis and play an important role in our strategy on BESS assets. We can tailor the role and thus invite both experienced individuals and junior talents with solid analytical skills to make an impact and grow with us. This job is located in Olten, Switzerland, relocation support will be provided.
Your main responsibilities
- Develop quantitative strategies and pricing tools for BESS and flexible assets
- Contribute to the design of our front-office pricing and systematic trading toolbox
- Collaborate with Origination, Trading, Risk and related functions
- Support and maintenance of existing tools and processes
Your profile
- University degree, preferably PhD, in Engineering, Computer Science, mathematics or similar
- Experience in systematic and algorithmic trading strategies
- Understanding of day-ahead and real-time markets for BESS dispatch strategies
- Experience with ML/AI methods for price forecasting
- Strong development skills in Python, and preferably .NET (C#/F#) or Rust.
- Working knowledge of financial derivatives
- Good communication skills, ability to influence and work with Trading and IT
- Proficient in English, additional languages a plus
