In response to recent regulatory changes, Alpiq has launched ambitious projects to align our sustainability reporting with the Swiss Responsible Business Initiative and the EU Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD).
Over the coming years, this will enhance group-wide transparency across all ESG dimensions. To guide this effort, we conducted an extensive double materiality analysis with internal and external stakeholders, identifying 14 key topics crucial to Alpiq's sustainability. In addition to reporting on these topics, Alpiq seamlessly integrates them into our corporate strategy and business model and embeds the ESG risks into our Enterprise Risk Management system.
Our commitment to sustainability is an ongoing journey. A key focus is the development and implementation of robust metrics and targets according to the CSRD, which we will regularly update as they evolve. Currently, the following key metrics and targets are available:
