The small hydropower plant is located in the canton of Aargau on the River Aabach between Lake Hallwil and the River Aare. Originally, it was built in 1918 with an output of almost 40 kW. In 2014 and 2015, the power plant was completely modernised and expanded. Today, the power plant has an output of 100 kW.
