Striempel drinking water power plant

The Striempel small hydropower station in the municipality of Langnau am Albis in the canton of Zurich generates electricity using the water that feeds the drinking water reservoir. In 2009, the power station was financed by Entegra Wasserkraft AG in return for the rights of use. The company has been operating the power station ever since.
