With an output of 500 kW, the Hagerhüsli small hydropower plant generates sufficient electricity to supply more than 600 households in the canton of Berne. Like the power station in the neighbouring village of Bätterkinden, it is equipped with a Kaplan turbine with a horizontal axis.
