Mühle Meyerhans small-scale hydropower plant

The Mühle Meyerhans small hydropower plant in the municipality of Weinfelden in the canton of Thurgau is powered by water from the River Thur and has been operational since 1950. Its Kaplan turbine with a diameter of 165 cm has a maximum output of 420 kW and generates electricity from renewable energy sources to supply 550 households in the region.
