Nenzlingen small-scale hydropower plant

The Nenzlingen hydroelectric power station derives its name from the municipality in the canton of Basel-Land in which it is located. It was constructed on the left bank of the River Birs in 1942 and was refurbished in 1997. It generates electricity for the equivalent of more than 300 households.
